Consequently, we unlock parts of our brain we often neglect to nurture and reap the benefits, as well as being reminded of the National Parks, beauty and simplicity of life.

Europe is home to “six of the world’s best national parks” for mindfulness, according to a UK survey.
In addition to analyzing the amount of green space and lakes, plant and animal species, air pollution levels, visitor numbers, and mindful activities available, they also examined the availability of wellness centers, spas, and hikes.
Here are the six European national parks where you can go to get away from it all:
Europe’s Best 6 National Parks

The Bohemian Switzerland National Park was established 22 years ago to protect the region’s flora and fauna, which had suffered greatly from human activity impact over the years.
In the Czech Republic, the park is now one of the most important reintroduction sites for animals that once lived there. Take, for example, the return of salmon to the Kamenice River.
With lush greenery contrasting with sand, rocks, and clear waters, a trip here is a colorful one.
The Kamenice is one of 16 rivers and lakes nestled among the park’s canyons, which are popular with hikers seeking a break from the city life in Prague.
5. Dip in the crisp, cool waters of Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

The Plitvice Lakes is one of Croatia’s most popular natural attractions, especially in summer when the lakes turn from deep sapphire to vivid turquoise, depending on the time of day.
A tumbling tier of pools, four different hiking trails, and thousands of plant species make this a sight to behold.
It offers seven pre-mapped walking routes that can be customized according to your energy level and ambition. People are encouraged to cover as much or as little of its 73,000 acres as they like.
The wooded boardwalks of Plitvice are perfect for a relaxed stroll, as well as for climbers seeking some of the freshest, cleanest air in the Balkans.
4. Get an endorphin hit in the Lake District, United Kingdom

A giant green patch surrounded by rugged mountains and smooth lakes, England’s largest national park often feels like a universe in itself.
Every year, millions of Brits visit these natural landscapes and quaint market towns to decompress.
A bike ride through some of the more manageable hills or a stargazing trip are two activities offered by the Lake District that caters to those who want a quiet getaway.
Walking routes are plentiful for all abilities, but the real endorphin boost comes from the sheer variety of water sports – whether you’re a wild swimmer, a sailor, or a paddler, there’s something for everyone.
3. Give back to the natural landscape at Cinque Terre National Park, Italy

As Europe’s leading destination for responsible and sustainable tourism, Cinque Terre, literally ‘five towns,’ is at the forefront.
While the Italian wonder is the smallest on this list in terms of surface area, it excels in terms of biodiversity, mindful activities, and cultural sites.
Giving back to the land is an important part of embracing the natural landscape.
You can do this by staying on one of the Park’s many organic farms or by foraging and replanting some of the herbs such as rosemary and thyme, that grow between the coves and the countryside.
2. Float above the unique sculpted landscapes of Göreme National Park, Turkey

Turkey’s Göreme National Park is well worth exploring for its unique design, which is due to its former volcanic past. The valleys are described by UNESCO as ‘spectacular’ because of their distinctive shapes and eroded terrain dating back to the Bronze age.
This survey ranked Göreme higher than Yellowstone National Park, which is thousands of times larger in size and has tens of thousands more visitors.
This heritage site’s landscapes are like something from a fairytale. So much so that a hot-air balloon tour is offered every morning at sunrise to take in the awe-inspiring beauty of this place.
3. Give back to the natural landscape at Cinque Terre National Park, Italy

Not just in Europe, but throughout the world, the oldest national park in the Alps has been crowned the best for mindfulness.
With only 150,000 visitors per year, it is one of the best-protected areas in the Alps and has the lowest overall air pollution scores of any National Park on this list.
As a top destination for mindful activities, the Swiss National Park offers 83 spas and wellness centers, 75 boat tours and cruises, and a wide variety of wildlife encounters.
For conservation purposes, the park remains closed during the winter months.
On one of 14 walking routes across this astonishingly beautiful stretch of land, you can often spot mountain hares, ibex, red deer, and golden eagles.
