Media reports claim that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro smartphone will have 8GB of RAM.
According to MacRumors, Apple will increase RAM capacity and specifications for its upcoming iPhone 15 models.
In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro models have 6GB of RAM.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are expected to remain at 6GB of RAM but may be upgraded to faster RAM, as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models were.
Multitasking on iPhones could be improved by increasing RAM by allowing more applications to run simultaneously in the background.
RAM upgrades will improve overall performance along with the A17 Bionic CPU for iPhone 15 Pro models.
According to the report, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series at a press event in September of 2023.
It was reported last month that the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature ultra-thin, curved bezels.
