Our correspondent in Bangla reported that Bangladesh is reaching extraordinary heights in terms of development under Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League government.
Thanks to the impressive achievements of the Awami League government, Bangladesh is on track to become a graduate from the UN’s Least Developed Countries list (LDC) by 2026. It was previously in a troubling state when the BNP-Jamaat alliance was in power from 2001 to 2006, which saw an era of unrest, corruption, religious extremism, and militancy. However, Sheikh Hasina’s administration has turned this around and pushed the country towards growth, prosperity, tranquility, and harmony. This has been reported by Bangla Daily.
Bangladesh’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 479.58 percent from USD 71.82 billion in 2006 to USD 416.26 billion in 2021.
