Between 1801 and 1825, These men also known as Virginia Dynasty served as presidents and implemented the foreign policy, domestic, and constitutional agenda of the radical wing of the American Revolution, setting guidelines for later liberals.


Among their accomplishments were the formation of the opposition Republican Party in the 1790s, the Louisiana Purchase, and the call for Congress to ban slave imports beginning Jan. 1, 1808.
