Film producer and screenwriter Jemima Goldsmith is regarded as one of the best in her field.
She has been working on her latest film, What’s Love Got To Do With It? The film consists of Hollywood, Bollywood, and Lollywood actors, and Sajal Aly plays a key role. Although the film will be screened in multiple cities around the world, Pakistani audiences have been wondering if it will be released in Pakistan.
According to media reports, the highly anticipated cross-cultural rom-com will definitely release in Pakistan, largely because the film revolves around Pakistani cultures and traditions through a different lens. On March 3, Shekhar Kapur’s directorial is scheduled to hit different theaters, with Atrium Cinemas confirming its release date.
Besides that, Nueplex Cinemas, The Arena and Cue Cinemas are still waiting for an update regarding the movie’s screening. However, Universal Cinemas in Lahore will not screen Goldmsith’s production.
The film is scheduled for release in Australia on January 26 and in UK cinemas on January 27. What’s Love Got To Do With It? premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2022, and at the Rome Film Festival in October. The latter festival awarded the film Best Comedy.
